How Trump Remembered Holocaust Day

Today, I begin my blog without jokes or a story, as I remember and pay my respects to those whose lives were ended much too early, and the survivors who will never forget the devastations of the Holocaust. The horrific event in history unofficially began on January 30, 1933, and ended on May 8, 1945. The Holocaust's beginning is often linked to when Adolph Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. As a result of the Holocaust, 6 million Jews would die at the hands of Nazi oppressors by the war's end.
Our new president elect remembered the day the best way he could, by barring the refugees and citizens of 7 Islamic and Muslim countries.
He also took the time to compose three-paragraphs making reference to "victims, survivors" and "those who died", but it made no mention of the Jewish victims. This statement was heavily criticized for the omission. Some 6 million Jews, including one-and-a-half-million children, are estimated to have died in the genocide that occurred under the hands of Nazi's during the holocaust. I can't help but wonder, is this not worth the mention?
